On November 2, as part of preparations for COP29, Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY) held a mass cleanup event along railway zones in Baku city. The cleanup took place at the Baku, Narimanov, Keshla, Koroglu, and Bileceri stations, with participation from ADY’s structural departments and subsidiaries. Equipped with necessary sanitation tools, participants carried out cleaning, maintenance of greenery, and loosening of soil around trees. They also removed household waste that had been discarded onto the railway lines and posed a risk to safety.

The primary goal of the event was to change attitudes towards environmental protection, draw attention to ecological issues, and highlight the importance of preserving nature.

The collected waste was delivered to the relevant authorities for disposal.
