Cooperation Opportunities in the Transport and Logistics Sector Discussed Between ADY and OSCE

Rovshan Rustamov, the Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY), met with the Secretary General of the OSCE, Feridun Sinirlioglu.
At the meeting held at the Baku International Sea Trade Port, opportunities for cooperation in the field of transport and logistics were discussed.
The OSCE delegation was provided with extensive information about Azerbaijan’s transport and logistics potential within the framework of the Promoting Green Ports and Connectivity in the Caspian Sea Region project, initiated by Azerbaijan.
It was noted that within the reforms aimed at strengthening Azerbaijan’s transit potential, the integration of the Baku Port into ADY will not only expand the country’s transit capabilities but also contribute to the more efficient organization of cargo transportation along international corridors.
Both sides stated that jointly implemented projects and initiatives will strengthen Azerbaijan’s position as a transport hub and, overall, will drive the sustainable development of the region.
