Career
From 2001 to 2023, Arif Aghayev held various managerial positions at "SAQA," "ATL," and international consulting firms. In these roles, he conducted financial analyses for regional projects, worked on commercial analysis and business development for entrepreneurship projects, and was responsible for preparing strategic and financial plans, monitoring portfolios, as well as researching new projects for portfolio companies.
In 2023-2024, he served as an advisor to the Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, overseeing investment management, affairs with international financial institutions, and the implementation of strategic objectives.
In 2024, he was appointed Deputy Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC.
